Data Compression

Data Compression is a technique to reduce the space required to store unique data on a storage solution. This maximizes capacity while minimizing the number of writes required to store unique data, resulting in increased storage efficiency and reduced costs.

PC RISKS use own developed technique to compress data to use less space than the original format. Append-only write layout and variable addressing optimize compression savings by removing the wasted space that fixed-block architectures introduce. Combined with deep reduction, inline compression delivers 2 – 4x data reduction, and is the primary form of data reduction for databases.

Data Archiving

Data Archiving is the process of moving data that is no longer actively used to a separate storage device for long-term retention. Archive data consists of older data that remains important to the organization or must be retained for future reference or regulatory compliance reasons.

Differential Backups

Different Backup were the next step in the evolution of backup strategies. A differential backup backs up only the files that changed since the last full back. Differential backups are more flexible than full backups and quicker than full backups because so much less data is being backed up. PC RISKS provide differential backups technique to help our client cost effective and production maximization.
